Margie Campbell
Margie is the director of Pivotal Physiotherapy and is a musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapist.
Originally from Australia, Margie has nearly 20 years of experience working with a wide range of individuals to help get them back to their hobbies and enjoying everyday life.
Treatments are done on a one-on-one basis, with emphasis on a hands-on approach, with clear and specific direction for home-based exercise programmes.
Margie has a special interest in using Real Time Ultrasound to investigate the deep core muscles of the pelvis, hip, spine, and shoulder, identifying whether there are any deeper issues contributing to the overall problems.
During her years of practice, Margie has developed an interest in Men’s and Women’s pelvic floor dysfunction. She has gone on to complete further training to help with pregnancy and post natal care, bladder and bowel concerns, pre-and post operative care for prostate problems, and pelvic pain.
It doesn’t matter if you are an elite athlete, a new parent, weekend warrior, or office worker, your pelvic floor and core are vital in providing structure and support to all your internal organs as well as stabilising your spine and pelvis.
An experienced distance runner and multisport athlete herself, Margie understands the need to stay active to help maintain not just physical health, but to keep mentally happy as well. An individual management plan can then be discussed in a private and supportive environment so to aide you in getting back to the sports and activities you enjoy.
